Senior-Level PHP Programmer Needed - 6+ month contract

DONER is an advertising agency in the Irvine area with several exciting clients and projects. We are seeking a Senior PHP Developer with 8+ years of web development experience and a keen understanding of LAMP architecture and best practices. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The Senior PHP Developer will work closely with the principle web architect and one other expert PHP programmer to rebuild our client's web site from the ground up. We expect the project to take approximately 6 months to complete, with the possibility of needing further support after the initial rollout is complete.
What you need to qualify:
- 8+ years of web development experience
- 5+ years PHP experience
- PHP 5 experience
- Fluency with OOP concepts
- Efficiency with writing stored procedures and other queries for MySQL
- Experience with MVC frameworks
- Knowledge of Apache configurations and URL rewriting
- Knowledge of XML
- Familiarity with FTP
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment
Plusses:
- Degree in computer science
- Expertise in DHTML (JavaScript, CSS and HTML)
- Experience with version control software such as Subversion or CVS
- Familiarity with Photoshop and Illustrator
- Work experience at an ad agency
